Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the hirewand web application, Chrome extensions and the Hirewand desktop application.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Information Gathering and Usage
When you register for an account in Hirewand we ask for information such as your name, email address and company name. Once the account is approved more information about the company and the recruiters within would be collected to provide the services.
Hirewand uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Cookies are required to use the Hirewand service.
If you provide the resumes to be indexed in Hirewand the ownership of those resumes remain with you. Hirewand commits to deleting the resume and all indexed information within 48 working hours on your intimation for cancellation of your subscription being viewed by our support team. This information cannot be recovered after cancellation of the subscription.
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis every month, quarter or year based on your service agreement with Hirewand.
Hirewand may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.
Hirewand may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Hirewand primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Such notice will be given at least 3 days in advance of the date the new policy will be applied.
Hirewand will use all reasonable effort to maintain 24 hours uptime of our service. However the service will be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades and emergency repairs for any reasons. Every reasonable step will be taken by Hirewand to minimize such disruption. You agree that Hirewand will not be held liable in any event to you or any other party for any suspension, modification, discontinuance or lack of availability of the service or other content.
Hirewand reserves the rights to limit the use and storage at its discretion at any time with or without notice.
The subscriber (or user) certifies that they are legally permitted to use the service and takes full responsibility for the selection and use of the service. This agreement is void where prohibited by law and the right to use the service is revoked in such jurisdictions. Access to content may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. You are responsible for the compliance of the laws in your jurisdiction.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hirewand its contractors, and licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, members, shareholders and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, actions, causes of action, demands, costs and expenses, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Service (or any third party using Subscriber’s account), your violation of this Agreement, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity in connection with the Service or your use thereof. The terms specified in this Section will survive termination or expiration of this Agreement.
