Role Summary

Experienced Technical Lead/Manager with strong expertise in Linux-based embedded systems and LTE protocol stack development. The candidate will lead architecture, design, development, integration, and deliver solutions while mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Lead architecture, design, and development of LTE/4G modem, protocol stack, or networking solutions.
• Define software architecture for Linux-based embedded platforms.
• Drive technical decisions, code reviews, and design reviews.
• Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of software solutions.
• Support protocol debugging using GDB, Wireshark and log analysis tools.

Linux Platform Development:

• Develop and debug Linux kernel and user-space applications.
• Work on device drivers, networking, multi-threading, IPC mechanisms, and system optimization.
• Enable and integrate LTE functionality on embedded Linux platforms.
• Troubleshoot system-level and performance issues.

Team & Project Management

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Manage project planning, risk assessment, effort estimation, and execution.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive customer escalations and technical discussions.

Required Skills

Mandatory

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Linux Embedded Systems.
• Hands-on experience with LTE/4G protocol stack development.
• Strong programming skills in: C

Experience in:

• Linux Kernel
• Device Drivers
• Multi-threading
• System Programming
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Project Management tasks

Preferred

• Knowledge of RTOS (Linux, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, QNX, etc.).
• Experience in modem development or wireless chipset development.
• Familiarity with ARM-based SoCs.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins.

Experience: 10–12 Years

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
