About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dynatrace Administrator to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Dynatrace monitoring solutions across our infrastructure and applications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the performance, availability, and scalability of our systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure that our monitoring solutions meet business requirements and help us proactively identify and resolve performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Dynatrace solutions to monitor infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up comprehensive monitoring for critical systems and applications, develop dashboards, and configure alerting for proactive issue identification and troubleshooting.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and work with teams to improve system performance and stability.
• Automation and Integration: Automate monitoring processes and integrate Dynatrace with other IT tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, ITSM tools) to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning and forecast system resource requirements to ensure scalability.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and IT infrastructure teams to support end-to-end monitoring strategies and enhance observability across the stack.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation on monitoring configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT monitoring, with a focus on Dynatrace administration and application performance monitoring (APM).
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including setup, configuration, dashboarding, and alerting. Knowledge of synthetic and real user monitoring (RUM).
• Monitoring Best Practices: Deep understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) concepts, network monitoring, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Cloud Environments: Experience with monitoring cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications: Dynatrace Certified Associate or Professional preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other APM tools (e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and methodologies.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
