Role Summary:
Responsible for developing, testing, and supporting Kafka-based data streaming solutions using the Confluent platform. The role involves building real-time data pipelines, managing Kafka clusters, and ensuring reliable production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Kafka producers, consumers, and streaming applications.
- Implement real-time processing using Kafka Streams and KSQLDB.
- Build and manage Kafka Connect connectors for system integrations.
- Support UAT testing and ensure smooth production deployments.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and performance issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform.
- Knowledge of Kafka Streams, KSQLDB, Kafka Connect, and Confluent Control Center.
- Programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.
- Understanding of Kafka architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design.
- Experience with monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of experience with Kafka in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
