Role Overview
Lead the design and evolution of an enterprise ontology within a semantic data platform. Work at the intersection of business, data engineering, and product teams to ensure operational concepts are digitally modeled and actively used in applications, analytics, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve a business-driven ontology representing processes, assets, events, and relationships.
- Partner with product and platform teams to create reusable semantic models.
- Translate domain knowledge into structured, maintainable ontology frameworks.
- Align data pipelines with ontology semantics and guide data mapping and enrichment.
- Establish governance principles and coach teams on safe ontology usage.
- Ensure ontology adoption across workflows, applications, and analytics.
Skills & Requirements
Required
- Strong experience in data modeling, semantic modeling, or ontology design.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise semantic platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams.
- Experience in iterative, product-led environments.
Preferred
- Experience in data engineering or analytics environments.
- Familiarity with metadata, lineage, and governance concepts.
