Job Brief

We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to join our client's growing Hardox Wearparts team in Muscat.

This role is perfect for a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys both technical work and customer interaction. You will help clients find strong and reliable wear-resistant steel solutions for industries like mining, construction, oil & gas, recycling, cement plants, crushers, and heavy equipment.

You will work closely with customers, understand their needs, and provide the best technical and commercial solutions. If you enjoy solving problems, building relationships, and growing your career in industrial sales, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

• Find and develop new business opportunities across different industries.
• Meet customers regularly and build strong long-term relationships.
• Study wear problems and recommend suitable wear-resistant steel solutions.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical reports.
• Work closely with fabrication, production, and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Coordinate with technical partners for product support and application guidance.
• Achieve sales goals and support business growth plans.
• Provide excellent after-sales support and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, technical support, or engineering roles within industrial or manufacturing industries.
• Good knowledge of steel materials, wear-resistant products, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of Hardox steel products and applications.
• Experience in industries such as mining, cement plants, crusher manufacturing or maintenance, oil & gas, recycling, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
• Understanding of wear part design, fabrication, and installation processes.
