We are looking for an experienced ETL Business Analyst to join our client. In this role, you will help build strong data systems. You will work closely with business users and senior leaders. You will design smart data solutions that support better decisions.

If you enjoy solving problems, leading teams, and working with tools like ETL, Data Warehousing, Tableau, Python, Databricks, IDMC, and AWS — this role is for you.

Responsibilities

1️⃣ Set Data Architecture and Processes

Define the data vision, goals, and strategy.

Design and improve data architecture.

Set rules for historical data analysis.

Define data quality standards.

Guide testing methods and processes.

2️⃣ Set Data Standards and Governance

Create policies and standards for data tools and systems.

Improve data quality across systems.

Train teams on data governance best practices.

3️⃣ Identify Business Needs

Work with stakeholders to understand data needs.

Translate business needs into technical requirements.

Recommend suitable database and data tools.

Help define data retention policies.

4️⃣ Report Insights

Share insights and clear recommendations with leaders.

Design dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau.

5️⃣ Build Data Processing Systems

Build ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.

Develop scripts and data flows for structured and unstructured data.

Validate data sources and preparation methods.

Support system upgrades and releases.

6️⃣ Optimise Performance

Improve system speed and data accuracy.

Fix data integrity and performance issues.

Automate processes for better reliability.

Ensure data security and privacy.

7️⃣ Manage Projects

Plan timelines, resources, and budgets.

Deliver projects on time and within budget.

Identify risks and provide updates to stakeholders.

Use Agile, SCRUM, and SDLC methods.

8️⃣ Manage Teams

Guide and support team members.

Coach and mentor staff.

Set clear goals and accountability.

Drive strong team performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in IT systems, data projects, or application development.
• Strong knowledge of:
• ETL concepts
• Data Warehousing
• SCD
• Data cleansing and profiling
• Query optimization
• Experience in data warehousing projects.
• Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, and SDLC.
• Good knowledge of Python or R (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Databricks and IDMC (preferred).
• AWS certification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of .NET, APIs, and web services is a plus.
