To ensure the quality, compatibility, and performance of devices such as TVs and streaming platforms through rigorous manual and automated testing processes.

As an SDET E3, you will leverage your expertise in test automation to create, execute, and maintain robust testing frameworks for device compatibility and performance. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and reliable user experiences.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Device Testing:

• Conduct detailed manual and automated testing on TVs, streaming devices, and similar platforms.

Automation Frameworks:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Espresso, or other relevant tools.
• Implement best practices in test automation processes and strategies.

Test Case Design:

• Design and write comprehensive test cases, including edge cases, for validating device compatibility, performance, andreliability.

Scripting and Programming:

• Write scripts in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java to automate testing tasks.

Integration with CI/CD:

• Work with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient build and release cycles.

Collaboration and Issue Resolution:

• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues.
• Provide input on design and development processes to enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in device testing, preferably on TVs, streaming devices, or similar platforms.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Espresso, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools for automated test integration.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
