Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Service Transition Manager with expertise in ITIL processes, incident management, and Azure DevOps. The candidate will oversee the implementation of cloud infrastructure projects, leveraging tools like Terraform and Grafana to ensure risk mitigation, efficient service transitions, and proper monitoring of services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and manage service transition activities following PRINCE2 methodologies and ITIL processes.
- Oversee incident management and ensure smooth collaboration with support teams for resolution.
- Drive Azure DevOps adoption for CI/CD pipelines and project tracking.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop risk mitigation strategies, and manage potential risks during service transitions.
- Establish robust monitoring frameworks using Grafana or similar tools to ensure service reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Architects and DevOps engineers, to align solutions with organizational goals.
- Manage and maintain ITIL-compliant processes for incident management, problem resolution, and change control.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve service transition processes for higher efficiency and lower downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 8+ years in IT service management, including at least 3 years as a Service Transition Manager.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure projects.
- Certifications:
- PRINCE2 and ITIL certifications are mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for deployment and project tracking.
- Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong risk management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
