Job Description: Business Analyst (Policy Center)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business needs, developing requirements, and supporting system integration projects, including those involving Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work PAN India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems within the Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Develop and document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and business process diagrams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify integration needs and support implementation with external systems.
• Work closely with development teams to reengineer or develop IT solutions to improve business process automation.
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of policy administration solutions such as Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter.
• Utilize iterative and agile methodologies, and apply knowledge of SDLC and PMLC processes.
• Leverage visualization tools to enhance requirement gathering and communication processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing guidance to ensure project success.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of business analysis experience in the Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
• Proficiency in policy administration systems and integration with external tools.
• Strong knowledge of iterative and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in creating business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and data rules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter.
• Experience with integration projects involving policy and claim administration systems.
• Knowledge of visualization tools for process improvement and communication.
• Background in troubleshooting and addressing system issues effectively.
